Privacy Policy
How DigitalPoint handles website, enquiry and customer information.
1. What the website collects
DigitalPoint does not currently operate website customer accounts or an enquiry form. Visitors who want to contact us do so by email.
2. Information you send us
If you email DigitalPoint, we may receive your name, email address, organisation details and whatever information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, deliver agreed services and provide support.
3. Website hosting and technical logs
The website is delivered using third-party internet infrastructure. Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details and security logs as part of delivering and protecting the site.
4. Analytics and cookies
DigitalPoint may use website analytics to understand site usage. If non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies are enabled, they will not be set until the required consent has been obtained. The site should be configured so visitors can refuse non-essential tracking.
5. Customer AI data
DigitalPoint's local AI proposition is designed so customer information can be processed on customer-controlled hardware. DigitalPoint does not retain ongoing access to a customer's machine after handover. Where temporary access is needed to perform an installation or authorised support, the scope and method will be agreed with the customer.
6. Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers where necessary for email, website hosting, security, delivery or other business operations. Correspondence and business records are retained only for legitimate business, support, accounting or legal purposes.
7. Your rights and contact
For questions about personal information held by DigitalPoint, or to exercise applicable data-protection rights, email hello@digitalpoint.co.uk.
